December of 2024 Mountain Project received information that climbing has been prohibited for the past 2 years. Violations result in $250 fine. They have mounted trail cameras tp catch violators.
Description
Three cracks in a chimney behind a detached block on the cliff band to the left of Sorenson. This is a great place to climb if it is windy or blazingly hot.
The rock quality is excellent for the canyon since the climbs are always in the shade and don't get much UV damage.
A big tree 4ft from the top makes this probably the easiest top rope set up in the canyon.

Getting There
From the top of Sorenson, hike north along the top of the cliff band. Try to stay as close to the cliff as you can safely. After about 2min you will come upon a huge block that is detached from the main cliff. There is an easy 15ft down climb into the fissure between the block and the main wall. Triple cracks are in the fissure to the north.
