Starts on the jug just before turning the corner on Loadies Dream but goes up staying left of the big holds in the crack? That would be Tree Scraper, V2 stand, V5 sit. Really fun but sucks if you pop off and scrape down the tree... Apr 15, 2016

Does anyone know if the crimp route directly behind the tree has a name? Had it pointed out to me today and it seems like a good v5 or so. Apr 14, 2016

Hey all,
Just went to Iron Cross with a couple of my friends today and had NO idea about the dry-tooling accident with the hold after the iron cross move. I feel that because of this break, though there is a lower slot crimp, it is DEFINITELY not a v4 hold, and adds a little bit of difficulty to the problem...would you say it is now a STIFF V4? Would love input/discussion on this.

Cheers! Jul 21, 2014

This is a great bouldering area.

The large face with "Beginner's Delight" is a huge wall with lots of great moderate options, and it;s a pretty high top-out to boot. Dec 22, 2013

Frank,

Just saw your comment. in the listed routes there is "Dream on" which starts on the far right side of the boulder and links into Iron Cross via a low roof and goes as a "9" (the traverse is simply tiring, the crux is the low roof).

The sit start to iron cross is unlisted but definitely a thing and starts by the tree on the obvious juggy flake with the first move being a left hand finger lock. It felt like a 7 or an 8 to me (and I've heard the same grades tossed around by several other people) Aug 7, 2013
I don't see a route entered for the Iron Cross Sit Start. Is this an official, recognized problem? And, what is it rated? I've seen/heard V7 or V6... Thanks, Frank May 16, 2013
