Description Suggest change

This area is not one of the most popular areas at Rubidoux, but if you take time to wander the hillside you discover great problems and climbs and you'll probably have the area to yourself.

The climbs range from steep faces to slabby smearing nightmares. The majority of the problems are tall, and if you aren't confident at the grade you'd be well advised to take a top rope.

The quality of the rock is excellent.

On sunny days it is hard to find good shade, so this is an area for winter. Also watch our for the poison oak which can be found at the foot of many of the climbs.

Getting There Suggest change

Hike up the southern access path, and just as the path loops right onto the west side of the hill you come to a black metal seat. Stop look over the edge and you'll be looking at the area from above.
