Access Issue: Day use area Details

Description

This excellent boulder with a distincive split is home to over a dozen fun problems from V-easy to V10 with the majority V4 and under. The rock here is a swirly mix or dark and light brown with generally solid holds and good friction that's easy on the skin.

Some of the better problems here are The Mullet (V1), It's Da Oooze (V1+), Tinkerbell's Anus (V2), Moral Wasteland (V3) and Poker in the Front (V4).

Getting There

From the parking circle hike north along the old road as it passes through some low hills, turns east and then meanders towards the base of Queen Mountain. When the road cuts back to the left, and before the trail splits to the east, head north directly towards the boulder. The approach takes around 20 minutes.

Worth the drive/hike if you're looking for a set of fun, easy problems. Rock quality is really good and soft on the hands. Nov 17, 2017
