The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
Trashcan Rock (aka Quail Springs Picnic Area) features a traverse and several other problems on the front (east) side of the actual Trashcan Rock while the Forgotten Boulders are around on the west side of the rock on various small boulders near the far (north) end of the parking lot.
