Description

Big spectacular limestone peaks and deep canyons make this range practically alpine in nature. There are lots of big routes here including big wall free climbs on Spain's most famous mountain peak; El Naranjo de Bulnes (8,263ft). Picturesque villages nestled above deep gorges provide nice spot for rest and relaxation. There's a very good network of trails and climbing huts to stay in while attempting the climbs.

Getting There

Access to the range is mostly made from the north.
