Description

Idyllwild County Park is situated in the town of Idyllwild and plays host to a number of granite boulders scattered around the campground. With the climbing situated nearby you'll often find yourself the only climbers here. In winter when all but 6 camping spots are closed the area can be very tranquil.

It is part of Riverside County Parks and therefore has rules and regulations like the other parks. It also has an entrance fee ($6 per adult, $2 per dog).

Getting There

From the stop sign at the rangers station turn south west along Lower Pinecrest Avenue. Turn right into Playground Road and the park is found a short distance along here.
