Description Suggest change

This is a nice spot with numerous boulders lying at the base of the massive Jimmy Cliff formation's southeast corner as well as more boulders in the open area to the south. There are over 40 problems in the area from V-easy to V10 on rock quality that ranges from horrible to amazing.

Getting There Suggest change

Easily approached from either the end of the Lost Horse Road or the large parking lot at Real Hidden Valley, although parking at the latter has the advantage of not having to drive on dirt.

If coming from the Lost Horse Road follow the well marked trail south, passing the distinctive Aiguille, until the Jimmy Cliff formation comes into view and follow a side trail west (right) which leads directly to the boulders. The approach takes about 15-20 minutes from the car.

If coming from the Real Hidden Valley follow the well marked trail west, past Houser Buttress and then north as it wraps around the rocky hillside to your right. After a few minutes the large Jimmy Cliff formation will come into view after which a side trail will head off west (left) to the boulders. The approach takes about 15-20 minutes from the car.
