This very popular crag is a 3.5 mile drive down the valley from Keswick, and about a mile from Shepards Crag.It lies at the head of a little brance valley named Troutdale,behind the Borrowdale Hotel.Best parking is about a mile past the Hotel on the left.A lane leads into Troutdale. The crag is obvious .Cross the stream and a steep hike brings one to the base and the well marked start to the most climbed route on the crag Troutdale Pinnacle 5.6 375'.
