Hunter Creek

Description

Hunter Creek cuts trough a steep canyon for about five miles. Many water falls provide superb ice climbing all of which are about 50 to 120 ft.

Getting There

Mile marker 8 on Knik River Rd. Start hiking up Hunter creek and you should get to the first waterfall after about 2 miles.

[Hide Comment] Harry's Big Adventure and Split Finish are both around 500 ft climbs. Couple other multipitch routes in this spectacular canyon. Plan on long days & don't forget your headlamp. I've never hiked out in daylight. Apr 10, 2013
