Description

Storm Castle Creek, formerly Squaw Creek is a great limestone climbing spot with, on average harder climbs. It is sunny almost the whole day, i.e "scortched earth". A good spot to get a few routes in before or after work. Normally when i have gone there on nicer days there has been one or two groups climbing but its not bad or busy for MT standards.

A large area with three significant crags, The Terrace, Singed Crag, and Scorched Earth.

Getting There

Climbs are located on the east side of the river and is a short drive from both Bozeman and Big Sky. Turn off at Squaw Creek for the storm castle hiking trail, then take a left after going over the bridge. Look for a faint trail that begins in the woods to your right.
