Description

Kienstein, pronounced [Key-nshtine] has 57 routes and four projects and is the closest area to Kochel. If you look south from Kochel, it is the first craggy looking wooded peak you see. Routes range from 5.8 ~ 5.13d (VI ~ X) are bolted and give a variety of terrain.

Getting There

From the south end of the Dorst company parking lot, go to the left and get on the smaller forest trail. You will see a path to the right going to Betongwand, go straight instead and follow sharp turns to Kienstein.
