Description
Just a ways down 17 from Weisshaus is Kraftwerkwand. At over a hundred feet, it is one of the taller single pitch crags in the area, that said, a few climbs require a 70m rope. There may soon be over a hundred established routes here, and there are 9 current projects. Routes range from 5.8 ~ 5.13d (VI ~ X). On the "Indian Summer" there is a X+ (8b/c[5.13d]) called Siberian Winter that climbs a desperate overhang. There are two uncompleted projects next to it, and Indian Summer is clad with IXs and the one VIII (5.11c) is the easiest climb on the wall.
Getting There
From Füssen take bus 4258, you will have to get off at Weisshaus and walk further down the road until E-Werk is found on the left-hand side of the road. Shortly after the E-Werk, there is a trail that cuts through a field, take it and follow it right (west) along the bottom of the crag.
AUTO: W on 17 toward Reutte, just past E-Werk take the road through the field and park at the edge of the wood, or park across the street from E-Werk.
