Description

With parking and a beach right next to the crags makes for a sunny afternoon. There is a cave through the crag that opens out above the water. The climbs are bolted and of varying difficulty. They are all one pitch and in the blistering sun, the cave wall gets shade in the afternoon. You can also camp and rent boats here. The SCUBA here is bad, but the climbing and lounging are OK. There are amazing views of the Adriatic and surrounding sea-cliffs.

There are 23 routes here, most of which are fairly easy. As you go east along the coast, the climbing gets more difficult and more plentiful. First to Costiera with 51 routes, then to Napoleonica with 166 routes, 13 of which are over 8a

The cave is human made.

Getting There

Take the A4 or E70 toward Trieste from Venezia. Get off at Sistiana and follow signs for camping.
