Description

South west facing wall catches sun at the base relatively early, but is steep enough that the climbing stays shaded a bit longer. The upper half of the wall is cool layered limestone that looks sort of like sandstone flakes. The lower bit is more standard or at times pebbly rock.

Routes on the wall start at 5.12- and go to 5.13-, a pretty compact grade range.

Getting There

When you first start on the trail after leaving the main part of town you make a big half loop around an alcove in the side of the canyon, this wall is at ground level on the up river side of the alcove. Head directly down into the canyon and switch back to the south where the trail flattens. Then around into the alcove.
