Description
There are excellent crags in the Dolores River canyon with sandstone towers and walls rising from the Dolores River.
Getting There
There are two climbing areas in the Big Gypsum Valley area - this is the lower one on the banks of the Dolores River. From Naturita, drive towards Slickrock and turn onto Road 20R - this is a good dirt road and there should a be a sign for a Dolores River launch site. From the pavement, it's about 13 miles to the climbing areas.
