Description Suggest change

  • Nice scenic crag right next to Fehr Lake. Gets morning sun and in the shade by the afternoon (can get buggy). This place doesn't see many visitors so the rock is a little dirty and loose in places (if climbed more the rock could clean up nicely). Mostly trad area but some climbs have a lead bolt or 2 and not all routes have anchors so be prepared to build natural belays and walk to a route with chains.

Getting There Suggest change

From Kamas drive over bald mountain pass and down the hill (about 24 miles from the toll booth), the trail head parking lot will appear on the right. If you drive past the moosehorn campground (on the left side of the road) you have gone too far. Take the main trail head down to fehr lake. When you reach the lake, take a faint trail to the right of the lake and will see the crag on the right. Way easy approach, down hill most of the way, about 15-20min hike.
