Description
This is a pretty cool and relatively underdeveloped area of the lake. Much more potential here for new problems to go up. Mostly talus fields with some trees tossed in for good measure.
Getting There
From the north shore pick up the Tumbled Rocks Trail and start hiking south. Walk past the Nancy Jo Holt memorial bench and look on the right for a small talus field that quickly ends at trees and bushes. Walk up here and start exploring.
For reference you go up the hill about 40 feet north of the beginning of the very large and prominent “slant” talus field that cuts across the center of the West Bluff.
