Description

The Seurat Area sits in the trees just South of the Bierstadt area, and so makes a fine choice on warmer days. This area is full of classic lines, but is known for its two desparate arete traverses (All Dogs Go To Evans & Silverback), and a classic lieback crack (Seurat).

In addition to these testpieces, there are a multitude of excellent moderates hidden in the trees uphill (east) from the Seurat Boulder.

Getting There

Follow the directions for Area A. From The Bierstadt Area, continue Southwesterly and pick up the trail just past The Ladder. On the left is the overhanging arete of Random Progression. Head right around a large flat boulder, then after ~20 yds you will run smack into the North Face of the Pink Fink boulder, featuring Snow White V7 & Pink Fink. The towering highball Peasants Into Leaders is on the boulder just East of the Pink Fink boulder. Head west (right) around the Pink Fink boulder, and follow the trail towards the woods. Once in the woods the trail goes right past the East side of the Seurat Boulder.
