Description
Kleftogeorgios-Nordgipfel (Kleftogeorgios North Summit) and Kleftogeorgios-Sudgipfel (Kleftogeorgios South Summit) are two modest rocks situated in front of the much larger Bantowafels. There are three moderate routes up each with none more difficult than 5.7. They are easily seen from the road from Kalambaka to Kastraki and provide a good vantage over the roofs of Kalambaka. Both of these rocks have rappels that are possible with a single 60 meter rope.
Getting There
It is possible to wade through a grassy field scramble up the left-hand side of Kleftogeorgios-Sudgipfel (the rock closer to the road and further from Bantowafels) from a small dirt road that diverts, heading east, from the main road between Kalambaka and Kastraki.
