Description
Known for Chris Sharma's incomprehensibly difficult route of the same name, Es Pontas is well worth a visit for even mere mortals for the view as well as some short powerful water exit problems on the right-hand side of the arch. There is a fairly easy route to the top of the arch--mainly class 4--up from the right side, be sure to wear your rock shoes though as falling would be a bad thing, and the rock is very sharp.
According to locals, there are regular break-ins to cars. Do not leave anything of value in your car. Leave your car with the glove compartment open and any shade over the cargo area of your vehicle removed to show that there is nothing worth stealing.

Getting There
From Santanyi, follow signs to Cala Santanyi on MA-6102. At the bottom of a steep hill you will find the first of several signs to guide you the rest of the way (a kilometer or so) to Es Pontas. There is a large sign about Es Pontas in front of a small residential development. Park nearby avoiding the yellow lines without blocking access to the road, homes or wooded area. Hike back into the development along the road until you reach a wall and sculpture. Follow the path left to the cliffs and view of Es Pontas. There is an easy route to a platform created by ancient limestone quarry down and to the right. This provides good access for the swim out to the arch.
