Getting There

Easy approach. Short walk through the forest. Park at double sided paved car park 1 mile after junction of south side drive and El Cap bridge road. Walk east on the road (about 200 feet) and then up into a clearing just before the road curves left to a horse trail. Continue up from two large boulders flanking the trail. Boulder is barely visible from the trail.

When approaching, look for the "Icy" sign on the road. You'll want to head into the clearing on your right a little before the sign. I've added a photo. Dec 2, 2017
