Description Suggest change

This is the slab that sits up the hill, behind VD wall, to the southwest. It is also north-facing and presents a variety of climbs, both crack and face, ranging from 5.2 to 5.11. There are some rap anchors for descent but the trad lines require gear anchors and descent is by walk-off, down the hillside to the west, following the base of the rock back around to the right, to the start of the climbs.

Getting There Suggest change

Approach for Wallbanger wall will depend on the time of year. During the summer/early fall, it is possible to follow the creek upstream from VD wall, through the chasm that separates VD from West World. Continue south to the base of Wallbanger. The routes all start up to the left.

In late Spring, due to mountain run-off, the chasm will be impassable. Hike south from the chasm as if going to West World. Continue past West World and turn left (south) along the hillside. Turn to the left, back towards the other walls, and continue to work south and east until you can cross the creek and reach the base of Wallbanger.
