Getting weather forecast...

Description

There are 1 or 2 bolts protecting crux moves through a roof system on the SE point, maybe 45 ft. tall. Pulling the roof (easiest line) seemed 5.10+/11a. Seemed like 5.8 climbing up to the roof. 1 star for the area..but IMHO a route worth doing when your bored with the bouldering. I have no idea who put this bolt up. Seems to me that one could tr a few different climbs and variations here.

Getting There

Use bouldering instructions and walk to the furthest SE point of the rib...look up in roof system to see the bolt

For the desperate: Led two climbs on the SE point today. About 5.6, protected ok. The area we climbed was the lighter colored slabby rock South of the overhanging area. Pretty good rock. We also TR'd the overhang. The overhang has one pin and one rusty bolt with SMC hanger. Apr 14, 2012
