Description

The sheltered valley hosts a number of buttresses with relatively easy access and a number of routes in all the grades. Walls on either side of the stream offer lots of options no matter the season.

The rock is limestone, and the quality is generally good, although the popular climbs and boulder problems are getting polished.

Rubicon Wall with its easy access, hard fingery climbing is always a popular spot to start the exploration.

Getting There

It is possible to approach from the east or west. From the West approach via the small lane from Miller's Dale. To get to Miller's Dale travel south on the B6049 from Tideswell. Walk East along the stream to reach the climbing.

To approach from the East head south from Litton and park near Cressbrook mill. Walk West to reach the climbing.
