The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
The Lechlinski Cracks Area is the next large rubble pile south of The Volcano Area and has a number of quality problems scattered about it's various sides.
Bluecut (V0), Cinders (V0+), Cleavage (V2), Wild Turkey (V4), Dike Face (V5), Dark Amber (V7), Velvet Elvis (V8), Dikes with Acne (V8+) are all found here.
Getting There
Drive 4.5 miles down the Geology Tour Road and park (watch for soft sand) where possible on either side of the road near some large formations.
