This permit covers Non-Motorized walk-in access to the Coos Bay Millicoma Tree Farm, including the Callahans climbing area west of Roseburg, Oregon.
When parking on Touchstone Rd, do not block the school bus turnaround and be respectful of all neighbors. As private timberland, climber compliance with the permit system is critical for Access Fund and SW Oregon Climbers Coalition to explore future improved access with Weyerhaeuser, such as a recreational lease.

Description
Turtle rock is a free-standing block/cliff-band that is one of the first areas you will come to if hiking uphill from the lower parking. The routes on the right side get afternoon sun, but the base is typically shaded for most of the day due to the significant tree cover. Most of the rock on this formation is of very high quality, with only ocassional moss and choss. The routes are all bolt-protected, save for one 5.8 crack climb, and the climbs are right next to each other, with many link-ups and variations. Climbs vary from 5.8 to 5.11.
