Seedhouse Crag

Colorado > Steamboat Springs

Description

This crag is the nearest wealth of sport-climbing Steamboat has to offer, there's even some trad climbing to be had. On a weekend there's a good possibility that other climbers will be present. It's located on the North side of Seedhouse Road, therefore there's very little shade to be had.

Getting There

To get there you travel West on Lincoln Avenue, then turn onto CR-129 (Elk River Road) towards Clark and drive for about thirty minutes. Seedhouse Road (aka CR-64) is located on the right about two miles after the Clark Store. After turning onto Seedhouse Road drive about four miles and look for a pull off on the right (the GPS coordinates take you here) adjacent to the rocks on the left (it's very apparent). The approach is a short but steep five minute hike.
