Description
This Butte has a tower look and feel to it. Most of the rock encountered is of good quality but some of it is dirty. It resides at the mouth of a side canyon where another stream flows into Cedar Canyon Creek.
Getting There
After the double lanes going up canyon from Cedar City on HWY 14 park in the big pullout on your left. The pullout has a big boulder in it. Pick the best route across the narrow valley and start you downhill slog. Hike to the stream and walk North to the side canyon. The Butte should be visible from here.
