Description
This south-west facing crag is the best of Pecos. Its has the best view of the high peaks and you'll probably never see another climber there. In the summer, it gets shade till about 2pm. It hosts the longest routes in Pecos and of the best quality in Pecos.
Getting There
To get there, when facing cathedral rock look right and count 2 telephone poles down. At the base of the telephone pole labeled “100” follow a climbers trail straight up the ridge for about 30 minutes. DO NOT hike up the gully to the right of cathedral rock. When you reach the base of the cliff you are on the far right side of the cliff. the routes extend a long ways to the north.
