Once getting to the face of Barrett's cove cliff keep going to the left, head up the stream bed a 100ft, cross and walk on the trail till you get to the clearing

This is a weird place to get to without rappelling in. It's definitely easier to rappel in. You would have to climb a scrabbly 4th class thing that is not safe to get the the bottom.
