Description
Another great cluster of boulders in a beautiful cedar treed area of the mountain. Perfect weather conditions in the Spring and Fall, though it can be a bit on the hot side in summer and frozen solid in the dead of winter. The brave boulderer will find year round climbing is possible.
Getting There
Access this area from the pullout at the third switchback of Spirit Mountain Road. Walk west toward the trees, make a left before the hillside to find the trail that wanders uphill, then cross the talus to find the boulders littered amongst the trees. A leisurely 10 minute walk deposits you above the Mid Mountain area.
