Description

Exposed granite outcroppings with tons of potential. Fun scrambling and great views of Evergreen Lake, Evergreen Mountain and Elephant Butte.

Getting There

From the main trailhead take the Sisters Trail to a saddle between the North Sister and the Middle Sister.

I agree, there is really no need for fixed gear here, as almost every formation can be downclimbed.

This is really a good place to scramble around on rock, which it appears has been going on for a long time. The beauty of the area is that you can go out and have a low key day on the rock in a spectacular setting and not be encumbered by ropes or rack and still get in some fun climbing. May 13, 2008
There's some fun stuff here.

Please keep our impact to a bare minimum, be totally cool with everyone else that plays in this park, keep approach traffic on the paths, do not encroach on wetlands, & don't install any new fixed anchors without checking with the OS people.

There's some good climbs that have natural seams for trad & rope anchors if you wanted to play with some TR'ing & bouldering. It's a fun place with good scenery and fairly small approach commitments. May 12, 2008
