Description
Orient Bay has a fairly popular beach. It can be crowded in the high season. Activities here include kiteboarding, snorkeling (across the bay, must charter a boat or get in with a group), and surfing (with the right conditions). If you've got the itch, bring your shoes and add bouldering to the list.
The boulders are near the north end of the beach. They're up on a small hill and have a terrific view. The rock is a conglomerate. There are some cobble-type holds and also some great pockets and jugs.
There are beachside bars that will charge you a buck or two to rent a chair. Drink prices are comparable to the US. Orient Bay is also known to be a topless beach. Near the south end there is a nudist resort.
