Description

This oblong-shaped blob of rock is about 50' east of the Black Velvet Boulder and features a couple of unique problems on it's south face - Yawning Flare (V3) a classic JT grovelfest and Jump Chump (V5) a novel run and jump problem.

Getting There

Hike west past the western-most picnic table and then head south skirting the rocks on your left. Spot the Black Velvet Boulder with it's distinctive black face and then head east 50' to the next clump of rocks where you'll find two problems on the south face. Plan on 5-10 minutes from the car depending upon where you've parked.
