Access Issue: Private Land Details

This popular climbing are is located on private land owned by a logging company. Climbers have climbed here for 30 years without issues from the landowner, however. Local neighbors have also been generally friendly. Please ensure that it stays this way by packing out your trash, keeping noise especially at the parking to a minimum, and avoid blocking any of the roads with your vehicle. If the parking is full, go somewhere else, or park back down at the ball fields across breakneck road and walk the extra 5 minutes.

Description

This is the short free standing block that is a bit down hill from the main area (and to the left when walking away from The Main Wall). The routes here are only 40' high. Beware that the three old routes on the front side have hard starts for the grade. Perhaps consider stick clipping if you are a new leader and these grades are at your lead limit. There are also three new routes on the back (lower) side that were established in 2018.

Getting There

If standing with your back to The Main Wall and looking down hill, The Cannabis Boulder will be 100 yards down and to your left. Walk downhill at a diagonal away from The Main Wall and look for a trail with a short scramble up and down between boulders to put you in front of The Cannabis Boulder.
