Description
June Lake has very good bouldering areas, with some of them matching the quality of the better known areas, such as the Happy and Sad areas, the Sherwin Plateau, or the Buttermilks, located a few miles south closer to the town of Bishop.
If you like solitude and great bouldering head this way, as many times you'll have the areas to yourself.
The rock type is mainly volcanic tuff, but you'll also be able to find some granite closer to town.
