DescriptionA fairly small flatiron that faces West. This crag is not notable from the east, which may be perhaps why it has escaped much attention or development for years. It is really only visible as a climbable wall from the West side, where it drops into Shadow Canyon.
The rock is solid, and the climbing reasonably good, but the only route with any known history is quite easy (5.4). There are some newer routes in the area, however.

Getting ThereHead up Shadow Canyon from the South Mesa Trail, up the Towhee Trail, then up the Shadow Canyon Trail. As the Devil's Thumb comes into view through a clearing in the trees, so will the Pyramid, and a steep slab below it. At this point, approach as for Devil's Thumb and go slightly right (South) from there to reach the Pyramid. The approach to the Pyramid's main wall will take ~1 hour or a little more.
