Description Suggest change

North facing and shady. Quite secluded as the approach, while beautiful, requires a bit of gumption. The rock quality varies from good to very dirty. Most of the routes are rife with lichen.

Getting There Suggest change

Park at Tunnel Trail trailhead. Walk on the paved road for about 3/4 of a mile till the trail crosses Mission Creek via a bridge. Scramble down into the creek and commence a 20-30 minute boulder-hopping adventure past poison oak and pristine swimming holes. You will eventually arrive at the base of the crag (on the left). A small cave at the base of the cliff is a good place to rack up and get your bearings. Pin Tan Alley begins about fifteen feet to the left of the cave, and Blowin' Chunks begins about 80 feet to the left of the cave and up the hill.
