Description Suggest change

This is a small ridge of white/gray granite up to 75 feet tall. The rocks project up out of the forest. There are shady belays on sunny rock in a secluded forest. The rock is very much like the Monastery.

Getting There Suggest change

West out of Loveland to County Road 27 (Masonville Rd.), turn north and drive to Masonville and the "T" intersection of Cty. Rd. 27 and 38E. Turn left and continue up County Road 27 for 10 miles. Take a left on county road 44H (dirt road). After 11 miles the Buckhorn Ranger station is on the left and just past it is Forest Road 100. Turn right on it (4x4 road). There is private property on the left for the first 1/4 mile then it is all National Forest. White Pines West can be seen from 44H on the hill side 1/2 a mile North of the private property. Pick a parking spot 1/2 to 3/4 miles up road 100 and hike thru the forest (no trail) to the rocks.
