Description

CLICK HERE TO REPORT BAD BOLTS!

Huge boulder with overhanging (30-45 degrees) powerful climbs that are exciting and short.

A couple of unfinished projects still remain on this boulder.

Climbs range from 11a to 13a/b

In the most recent Cater guidebook he made a mistake in describing the DC memorial boulder...There is no route #37(project), routes 38+39+40 are on the main face, #41 is the 12a around the corner.

[Hide Comment] There is a really fun 5.10b on the backside of the DC boulder. It was in the 2010 guidebook labeled as unnamed with no stars. We had a blast knocking off some moss and figuring out the moves. Very cool movement the whole way and great oppurtunity for pictures. Aug 19, 2014

[Hide Comment] DC stands for NRG climber Doug Cosby. He did the first ascents of 5 lines up to 12c on this boulder in 1991. He also did the D.C. Memorial Face at Tan Wall in the Meadow. Nov 14, 2023
