Every year WASPS build nests on this wall near "Junkhead" and they are aggressive! Apr 1, 2009

Probably my favorite collection of sport routes in the Cottonwood Canyons. I highly recommend it, take at least a light jacket though, even in the dead heat of August. I think this is the only place around Salt Lake where I have worn a fleece while climbing at 2 pm in the middle of August. The wall is in the shade almost all day (at least I've never seen it in the sun), it's right next to a cold creek, and it's fairly high. All of these factors contribute to the lower temps. This is a great location to escape the heat for the summer. As such, it is popular. Please be respectful and polite to other parties...

Clipping a QD on the route next to yours to "claim" it is not cool. Also, the running water is loud so when you knock off a couple bowling ball size rocks, you need to shout and keep shouting.

Most routes feel a couple letter grades soft. However, nearly all are cerebral and none are "gimme"s. Jul 22, 2017

An extremely quality wall - make the trip for this crag. I did four routes in order from the right side of the wall and loved each one. Aug 11, 2018
