Description
Grandad Bluff City Park was opened for climbing in 2020 by changes to the City Ordinance and the addition of a hiking & biking trail system on the bluff. The city park host 50 plus bolted routes with glue-in bolts and established anchors to lower. Grades range from 5.6 to 5.13 and all sport bolted.
Climbing access is permitted from the established trails and bottom-up, no top access for dropping top ropes is allowed. Six climbing areas can be accessed from the east wall to the south-facing wall via the bike trails.
Meader Wall was established by Dave Groth in the early '90s. Adidas Wall & The Point were added by Arron Stetzer, Fred Skemp, Corey Morris, Steve Tucker, Nate Kutcher, and Travis Melin. The last few years saw the development of Georges Point & Quarry Wall adding more moderate routes.
