Routes in Plumber's Crack

Access Issue: RAIN AND WET ROCK: The sandstone in Red Rocks is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Details

Description

Tall (25ft?) boulder, cleanly split; forming on the North side a V1/Veasy(R) chimney, and on the South side a V2(R) offwith. Really cool formation. There are several other problems on this boulder. This area is also sometimes referred to as "The Divided".

Getting There

Park at Kraft Mountain Parking Lot (36.156802, -115.420558), then take the Kraft Mountain loop trail to the East / Northeast.  Hike for just a few minutes and the boulder will be on your left.  You'll only be able to see the huge crack once you are south of it (not as you are approaching it).  The boulder is approx:  36.159911, -115.417167.
