Access Issue: Line Fire Closure in effect until 11/30/2024 Details

All Forest Service roads and access to the forest are closed due to the recent, and still ongoing, Line Fire.

Closure is in effect until the end of November, but given current conditions and precedent, it's unlikely they will open back up this season.

Description

This is the narrow portion of the crag that faces both the highway and Big Bear Lake. Recommmended routes here include Rumblefish (5.11d) and Trouser Trout (5.12a).

Getting There

Easily reached by a good trail from the east or west face of Fisherman's Buttress.
