Description

Secluded great quality granite route. Season spring through fall. Has some bouldering and top rope problems here.

Getting There

Take the main trail across from campsite 5 in the Horse Flats campground and continue past Teflon Presidents, Romeo Void, through the Main Area, to Pie Slice, and finally follow a faint trail to the right over to the Top Rope Wall.

OR

Across from campsite 1 there is a faint use trail. Follow that straight all the way to toprope wall. Probably 10-20 minute hike.

Would strongly suggest following the pink tape/flag trail from across the parking lot for campsites #1,2,3. It's a 14-16 minute hike down, not sure how long it is up. Coming in from Pie Slice we lost the trail and spent quite a bit of time looking for it. Oct 20, 2013

Really someone put pink tape/flags up to mark the trail? Stuff like this gets places shut down, you already can't park in the campground to climb. Oct 21, 2013
Theres no more pink tape on the trail across from campsites #1,2,3... just follow the cairns and really faint trail. 20 minute hike basically all uphill. I personally really enjoy the climbing here, the rock is great and it does not seem to be visited very often Mar 28, 2015

If you're traveling from Camp #9, its a little difficult to find the TR wall if you've never been there before. I suggest traveling from the other end at the Mt. Hillyer Trail head. You'll see a medium sized rock formation and the faint trail will be on your left. Aug 23, 2015

Does anyone know if there are TR anchors already installed there, or should we set up our own? Also, how is the approach to the top of the routes, to set up the rope? Nov 17, 2015
