DescriptionThese are buildering areas in Boston on near vertical retaining walls of quality granite near less-than-quality surroundings. Due to the lack of parking, a bicycle is best for accessing this. This is located in the Kenmore Square area near Brookline Village. These areas lies off Brookline Ave. Some anchors are possible, but bouldering is the most likely form of climbing here. Homeless folks do frequent some of the areas, but they dont usually provide much of a spot. Hot Henry liked this climbing.
There are 5 walls here: Tall Wall, Short Wall, Charlesgate, and Olmstead Park (probably the nicest setting of the bunch). Apparently, there is a traverse on the Longwood Wall in Brookline.
It would be fairly challenging to make girdle traverses on these structures.
