Description

This little rock houses some short but sweet routes. The block is maybe 8 feet tall, but it will keep you occupied for awhile. It is very pocketed limestone which will make some of the routes interesting if you are selective of the holds.

Getting There

To get to the Black Pearl, take a left at the 'T' intersection and park in the first parking lot on your left (Pet Area parking). Take the trail on the left side of the parking for a little ways. Go until you meet up with the main gravel trail (Red Bird trail). Take a right and walk until you see it on top of the bluff on your left, facing the trail.

Alternatively, walk down from the Red Bird memorial and it will be on your right.

This is The Black Pearl from the trail. I know it doesn't look all that great, but I think it is pretty cool.
