The Wave Wall goes into the shade in the afternoon.

Scramble across the rockpool in front of the Ghetto and head left. You should run into Kim Chi and behind that a fixed rope leading up a rock. Continue following a trail of fixed rope up a dirty path. Aug 31, 2008

Pretty good wall. A bit dirty, but it should clean up. You'll have the place to yourself guaranteed. Apr 14, 2015

Sweet wall! The approach will make you work for it but, super rewarding to get up to the wall. Goes into the shade eventually but you will get a solid tan going! All the routes are fun and make you work for them. More comparable to Mt. Gorgeous type of holds and rock feel as compared to ghetto. Saw 1 spinner the whole time. Make a trip up here for sure. This was the sketchiest approach to the sketchiest wall. Don't know if the weather has worn away at the wall, but my climbing partner gave me an extensive lesson on fissures and cracks while looking at the routes on this wall. And it's not slightly chossy but super chossy leading passed a cactus field next to a choss wall. (Did I mention that there's choss?) The ropes are getting rather tattered as well. When we walked down, boulders were making their way down the path, too. Not cool. Enticing, but not worth the risk. Anyone with experience wanna get a permit, trail build, and clean it up? Would be nice to climb something less traveled at Malibu. May 6, 2018
