Description

Grassi Lakes is a unique climbing are in the Bow Valley. A good portion of its climbs are on an old coral reef. Grassi is famous for overhanging limestone with large juggy pockets.

Getting There

Grassi Lakes can be reached from Canmore by driving south on the Spray Lakes Road towards Kananaskis country until you reach a reservoir where the valley narrows and a gravel parking lot. From there you walk back towards Canmore about 500 m and follow a trail down the earthen dam.
